Our Service Standards...

We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and outstanding reliability.

Here are our minimum service standards:

  • Reliability.  We will turn up when we say we are going to. This includes when we meet you for the first time to do a quote, right through to completion of the work.

  • Time Keeping.  We will normally arrive at your property at 8.30am and leave around 4.30pm, or earlier if the work allows. Equally we will also work later should it be necessary. Outside work is, of course, subject to the weather and we will liaise with you accordingly.

  • Tidiness.  Your property will be left in a fit and proper state and we will be mindful of your circumstances and facilities. We provide our own dustsheets and we will take every precaution to cover and protect your furniture, fixtures and fittings.

  • Insurance Cover. We are fully covered by public liability insurance.

  • Definition of a quote.  We provide a quote as opposed to an estimate. The quote is the price of the work as specified. The price will only change if we are asked to take on additional work, purchase additional materials, or if unexpected problems are encountered. We  will, of course, liaise with you if this is the case.

  • Materials.  We only use top quality materials manufactured by companies such as Dulux, Crown, Sadolin, Polycell, etc. If you prefer to obtain your own materials then we will be happy to offer you any advice required. The quantity of materials specified in the quote is an estimate and may change as the work progresses. The price of the materials is at today’s level and, like all prices, may change slightly. Any unopened materials can normally be returned to the supplier for a refund and a subsequent decrease in the final invoice.

  • Conduct.  Throughout our time with you we will behave in a manner that you would expect of guests visiting your property. We are also mindful of the disruption that decorating can cause and we will keep this to a minimum wherever possible.

  • Recommendations.  Our reputation helps build our business so if you feel you can recommend our services to other people we would be very grateful. A business needs good references and any testimonial letters would be gratefully received.

  • Refreshments.  We do bring our own refreshments but our favourite tipple is tea with milk and one sugar for me, no sugar for Clare and two sugars for Jamie!
